    802 - 854 Gwyn dancing
    Abby:     Elvaar got Gwyn to dance for the video component of her shoot, and I fired off a bunch of stills for fun. I really like her direct looks at the camera.

    Elvaar: These shoots, like most of the Melbourne January 2002 batch, were done at my place. I was splitting my time between Abby and my regular business and this was one of those days where I came home to find the house turned inside out and nude girls all over the place. Gee I miss that!

    854 - 884 Gwyn peeing
    Abby:     Ah, the infamous pee sequence. Most models, when we ask them to pee for us are a little mystified as to why we want it, but are the kinda gals who'll give anything a go once bless 'em, and the good thing is, they usually end up having a ball. Usually laughing at the absurdity of it all. And Gwyn was no exception.

    As you can see, we used a 'redhead' lamp with a daylight gel on it to provide some extra fill for both stills and video, and I shot at ISO800 and a slow shutter speed to get as much light onto the film as I could manage.

    Elvaar: The wee scene was marked by the usual hilarity. Like most girls, Gwyn was all 'guys want to see THAT???' followed by 'sure, bring on the fluids'. I'll let you in on a secret - those weren't her own knickers, as she only wears G-strings. We carry a limited range of garmentry for just such an occasion, and in this case chose the colour which would best contrast when wet.

    885 - 892 Gwyn on the ladder thing
    Abby: This weird ladder thing was entirely Elvaar's idea, and now I have had a play with it, it's actually a really cool ladder look at what it can do!. It worked out well for this shoot, tho she was a lot less graceful on the ladder in real life than she appears in these pics. Kudos to Gwyn for looking relaxed and comfy!

    Elvaar: Abby got an email from Gwyn recently - she's back home in frigid London and dropped in to AW to see if her set was up, and tells us she loves the site. Coming from a girl who isn't a regular dipper in these murkier estuaries of the web, we took it as high praise indeed.

    893 - 900 Gwyn and Tara
    Abby: Gwyn and Tara were best buddies, and they used to do this dancing... thing together. I never really got the details, but as soon as we heard about it, it sounded like an ideal premise for a fun shoot. We cleared a space in the living room, and cranked up the New Order Best Of... CD, and they danced away.

    It was oh-so-hot that day and for all these shoots, peak of summer in Melbourne, so we hired an air conditioning unit for a few weeks the same one you hear at the start of the Joanne and Mianna video, of course - we did this shoot a few days later.

    Those little specks of white on the floor are tape, to mark the space they had to stay within, to be in shot.

    Elvaar: Gwyn and Tara are typical English travellers, working their way around Oz doing what they can - waiting tables, washing cars, and getting naked. This was their first shoot and they were kinda nervous, and I think a bit unsure of what we wanted them to actually do, so we put some doof-doof music on and let them dance it up, something they're very adept at. Gwyn was less inhibited than Tara and I got the impression she really liked cavorting naked, as you can see in the garden pictures. I got to tell you though, as a lawn mower, she makes a great model - but then you probably wouldn't want to see my gardener naked either.

    The day of the dancing shoot was really hot. That kind of weather is good for getting girls naked in because they don't shiver and complain, but the down side is the sweat, which doesn't photograph well, so Abby hired in this mammoth air conditioner which sounded like a DC-10 on take-off and sucked so much power I swear I could see the power lines glowing out front.
