2918 - 2934 Briana
Abby: This shoot annoys me to this day. British Briana is an excellent model, and _Cass_ had a great idea to bring a mango along to this shoot (I think she planned to have a snack, but donated it to the cause as we started shooting, bless her). Briana did a great job, and the mango looked great, but my FUCKING flash gear was being silly (Canon 550ex), and severley wrecked 80% of shots in this shoot (under- or over-exposed). As you'll see from the set, I kept some frames in that were technically bad but all we had.

Cass: I'd been speaking with Abby for ages about incorporating fruit into a shoot, and I was especially keen to use a mango, being my favourite fruit and all, and also being the height of mango season. When Briana graced us with her very elegant presence and stated that she would be more than happy to enthrall us all with her sexual abilities, I knew that she'd be great for a 'froot shoot!'

I just conveniently packed a fat juicy mango into my lunch box, and when we reached the point where we had the model and the location and Abby on my left asking, "And now what", I whipped out my mango and gave it to our star. Very fruity shoot!

2935 - 2949 Alison
Abby: German Alison struck both _Cass_ and I as a dominatrix in a previous life (heck, or this one), not from what she wore or told us, nor the way she bossed us around (actually, she was kinda meek!). But there was something mysterious about her... She had a good time in this shoot, and I got to use some of my highschool German on her ("himmel was ist das?!" "toiletten papier", and "eins, zwei, drei, fier" is about it).

Cass: Oh who ho ho! Now! Geesh! Alison eh? Where do I start? This silent type German girl is the perfect reincarnation of a war time sex dominatrix. Can I say that? Because really, she's exactly what I would imagine one to be. The brooding eyes, the tight, yet full lipped smirk, the extra length in her strong sexy legs and those firm gripping hands that clench and unclench into fists, even when she's not in a bad mood. I don't intend to make her out to be a scary woman. Not indeed. She's a fox! I can just see she's capable of much, much more-he he.

2950 - 2957 Olivia
Abby: Aussie Olivia and her boyf lived in a small but very cool penthouse, and they had a great rooftop garden. Older than our usual fare at 29, I liked Olivia from the first time I met her. Gretchen, our part time helper, came along to assist, and spent her time chatting up Olivia's boyf.

2958 - 2968 Veronica
Abby: Oh, what a funtime girl. We seem to have a real ethnic variety this Backstage - Veronica is part Lebonese. As I sometimes do when I am lost for ideas (late in the day, on a four-model shoot), I asked Veronica for ideas on what to do next. She looked around and found this coathanger. Looks to me like it really hurt.

Cass: Veronica tried to drag all her friends along to be interviewed too, but none were keen or brave enough. They thought she was mad for doing a 'nude shoot..my god!' Alot of Lebo teenagers seem to hang around in large, tightly bonded groups. They're very close and don't usually do something unless everyone else follows suit. Veronica was great, as she ventured out and did a shoot because it was something she wanted to do, even if her friends opposed. Very cool, and a very cute chick.

2969 - 2981 Bess
Abby: Another Brit, Bess. Blue eyes and dark hair is not so common it's certainly striking on Bess. As we sometimes seem to, we had a not-so-subtle visitor on Bess's secret cove shoot. Cass shoo'd him off in no time. We shot Leanne on the same day (and their play GG shoot, as well).

Cass: Bess is someone who I found sitting on the front step of a backpackers in the summer sun, with her buddy Leanne. I went up to them, gave them my card (was still feeling pretty cool about the whole business card thing) and told them to..."Call Me!" I was REALLY surprised when they did. Probably because it was one of my first times carding models. It was a great confidence builder for me and next thing you know, I'm throwing cards around willy nilly. This summer was really great for me. I spent loads of time with chirpy naked girls in the sun, swimming, and learning about camera's with my super cool boss That's me! -Ed. What more could a girl want?

2981 - 2997 Marissa
Abby: Aussie-as (though with Irish roots, of course) It's not often we shoot mums, but Marissa is a mother of three, living in a small apartment in an outer suburb. She just got a puppy for her and her kids. As you can tell from the shoot and the pics here, I really liked this puppy. I think I paid t more attention than Marissa. Luckily for me, she understood the attraction. Unfortunately, we never got a chance to shoot Marissa again. True redheads of her spunkyness are very rare, and damn cute.

Cass: We didn't know Marissa had this cute little multi coloured eyed puppy when we rocked up at her home on the beach. She was a funny model to visit. Most girls have stuff strewn everywhere and we pick through bit of lint and dirty undies to find the clothes we're after for the shoot. Marissa had everything colour co-ordinated in her draws and wardrobe, which turned out to be incredibly handy and efficient for getting a shoot done in record time. Abby wanted sssssooooooo much to take that puppy home, and I think she ended up spending more time photographing the dog, than the model

2998 - 3004 Natasha
Abby: This IS weird. Natasha is Russian! Like a lot of Russians I have met, she was very standoffish. Gorgeous eyes and lips, I took a lot of face closeups. One thing I remember clearly, was at the end of the shoot, Cass had to deal with the next model, so I gave Natasha a lift to the train station... She insisted on sitting in the back seat, even tho it was only me and her in the car. That's weird, right?

Cass: Ah, my Russian princess. Yes? Strokes chin thoughtfully. This one wandered in all nochalant, and seemed as if she didn't really give a donkeys...uncle. I've come to realise it's a common attribute in most Russian girls. They come in all dark and sexy and act as if it's them doing us the favour and they really couldn't care less either way, and then Boom-fa! You shoot em and they're gone. Kinda works well that way. This one was super funny. Natasha was dating a police officer at the time, which she found hugely amusing. I did too to tell you the truth. If only he knew.

3005 - 3022 Charlie up the duff
Abby: ok, so you'd be hard pressed to find a girl more Aussie than Charlie... She used to work for us as model liaison (where Jamie now does, and as Cass and Susie and Tahlia did before). She had to pack it in when she fell pregnant, but she came back for this shoot at Elvaar's house. He has a kink for religious iconography. (Hey, recognise the bed, anyone?). It was great chatting with down-to-earth Charlie about being pregnant, her video's a hoot. In all these pics, she's laughing at Elvaar's gags and looking at him.

Elvaar: Those aren't gags, they're my life stories! Me and Gretchen were sent on a mission to track Charlie down. There'd been rumours she'd joined some religious cult. We found her working as a checkout chick in a supermarket in the boondocks but at first we weren't sure it was her - the hair was longer and a different colour, she looked taller, and pregnant! As soon as we heard her laugh there was no mistaking Charlie though. She has two or three little bundles of mischief now.
